Sunday Weekly Global Meditation - October 27th, 2019

Image
Greetings, In this week's meditation, we are just simply focusing on feeling love within us and around us. Visualize your own heart to shine brightly as you embrace your true self to be beautiful and perfect just the way it is. Visualize the ones that are close to your heart - family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc. that each and every one of them can also shine their hearts to feel more love. Visualize the space around you - your room, house, neighborhood, town, city, country, earth, and the cosmos, to shine in the light of love. What is love? ~ Spoken by Mooji “In the end these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go?” –  Jack Kornfield Blessings, Sunday, October 27th @18:00 British Summer Time Check your local time:  Time Zone Converter Read more about our Sunday Weekly Global Meditation   here .

Dear friends, We will continue with another round of healing meditation for Ecuador , Japan , and Syria . As turmoil still continues in Ecuador over petroleum, flooding is spreading in Japan, and conflicts with Syria and Turkey are still unsettled, we will have a meditation to send prayers and healing intentions to bring more peace to those affected places. Bodhisattva Prayer For Humanity May I be a guard for those who need protection, A guide for those on the path, A boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood. May I be a lamp in the darkness, A resting place for the weary, A healing medicine for all who are sick. A vase of plenty, a tree of miracles. And for the boundless multitudes of living beings, May I bring sustenance and awakening,   Enduring like the earth and sky, Until all beings are freed from sorrow, And all are awakened.   - Shantideva *performed daily by the Dalai Lama We pray for eternal harmony in the universe. Dear friends, For this Sunday's meditation, we are focusing our healing intentions to three countries, each with their troubling situations at the present moment. 1. Ecuador We had a request from a fellow friend from Ecuador to send healing intentions to the turmoil that's happening there with the petroleum issue. "May the two opposing sides  be able to talk and find common ground, to stop the vandalism, find enlightenment and peace." Ecuador president imposes curfew on capital amid protests 2. Japan Typhoon Hagibis that hit the Tokyo area on is said to be Japan's worst typhoon in six decades. 2 people have been reported dead and few are still missing. Typhoon Hagibis: Biggest Japan storm in decades makes landfall 3.  Syria "Some 100,000 people have fled their homes in north Syria, the UN reports, as Turkey presses on with it's cross-border offensive on Kurdish-held areas. A refugee crisis is developing. The UN

Dear friends, This Sunday's meditation will be focusing on sending healing to animals including our pets and wildlife. We may want to reflect on our relationship with animals, including livestock. Why are we causing so much damage to nature and the animals living there? For example why are whales still being hunted by countries such as Norway and Japan? Why are there so many homeless dogs and cats? Why do we still consume so much meat in our daily lives, which in order has created the horrific meat industry with all the inhumane processes? Why do we have love for our pets, but we cannot extend that same care and love to all living beings and to animals that are being (ab)used? It is well-known that animals have feelings, they can feel pain, fear and empathy too. There must be some kind of a major cognitive dissonance at play and also willful ignorance in the human society and not just the western one which is thought to be a "civilized one". These may seem har
