Sunday Weekly Global Meditation - September 29th, 2019

Dear friends, For our group meditation this Sunday, we will focus our intentions of healing for people who are suffering from  Benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome.   Anyone who has been prescribed Benzodiazepine  has the possibility of developing this withdrawal syndrome depending on how much and how long they use it. We encourage everyone to take a moment to get to know what this pharmaceutical drug is, how it can affect our health in more harmful ways and to stay away from it.  We extend our caring thoughts and healing light to our friend Rachel Olhava who has requested healing for people with BWS and is going through a process of recovery from this herself.  May the pains and suffering be healed. Dear friends, For this Sunday's meditation, we bring our awareness to the topic of human nature - the biological makings of our physical body, how emotional feeling and mental thinking that is guided by spirit are connected together. There are many things that give us energy, as well as take them away from us. How do you nourish yourself to raise your energy level, and how might you be bringing your energy down? Body scanning meditation is one good way of becoming more aware of your body, and combined with breathing practice can allow your body, mind, and spirit to release any negative energies and strengthen your positive energy (qi/chi). When practicing body scanning meditation, lay down flat on your back so you are facing towards the ceiling, with your palms either facing up or down. Relax your whole body and gently close your eyes. bring your awareness first to the tip of your toes, slowly more your awareness upward through your body - feet, ankles, legs, hips, abdomen
